About Us
Joëlle
Hello, my name is Joëlle, and I am the sole baker here at Joëlle's Baked with Love. I want you to know that my bakery is your bakery too. I am originally from a beautiful tropical paradise island called Mauritius in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Madagascar. The official language of our island is English. However, we also speak French and Mauritian Creole. Like many others, my passion for baking comes from my Grandma, who used to make everything from scratch and showed me what it was to "Bake with Love." I moved to the United States in 2018 and frequently baked for my loved ones. Friends and family encouraged me to take my hobby to the next level. So, I started taking orders and baking from home, and a year later, on September 1st, 2021, a childhood dream came true. We opened our first shop! I look forward to baking scrumptious treats for our community here in North Kansas City for years to come.
Our Bakery
Thursday to Saturday weekly, you can come by the shop on your way to work, when dropping the kids at school, or before an eventful weekend. It's a good idea to follow us on Facebook or Instagram to receive updates about the shop and get the scoop on baked goods for the day and any new specials. As we frequently sell out of our most popular goodies, feel free to reserve your order for pickup on a specific day under our menu section. Many families in Kansas City have already found their favorite treats, and I can't wait for you to find yours too! Joëlle will be here when you walk through the door to greet you with a warm smile, a little conversation, and your favorite sweet or savory treat baked with love.
Scrumptious Goodies for Everyone
You can find a variety of scrumptious treats daily in our storefront bakery on 11111 North Oak Trafficway in North Kansas City. We make scones, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, cupcakes, Danish pastries, and tarts, to name a few. We enjoy mixing flavors and creating new and unique combinations. We are always learning new techniques and making each treat look as good as it tastes. Custom orders are available. You can also order custom cupcakes for your next party, small group gathering, or just for yourself.
